Rosso Puglia IGT Puglia is the organic wine made from Montepulciano, Nero di Troia and Sangiovese grapes. For Antica Enotria it symbolizes the pride of the land precisely because of its composition. It is distinguished by its intense ruby red color with lively violet reflections. It has the characteristic aroma of cherries and berries. In the mouth it is dry, soft, not very tannic, and with a good freshness. It is a pleasant wine, ready to drink, to drink in all seasons.
Nero di Troia
Rosso Puglia IGT Puglia is the ideal wine to pair with traditional dishes in particular to first courses with typical vegetables of the rural tradition, second courses of meat, even on a spit, and game. Enhances seasoned, fresh and cured cheeses.
Grape variety: Montepulciano, nero di Troia and Sangiovese
Vine: Trained using the “Pugliese trellis” method.
Yield: 9,000 kg. per hectare
Vinification: these grapes reach the peak of ripeness in the last week of September. After harvesting and slightly crushing, the grapes are left to macerate on their skins and ferment at a controlled temperature for 8 days, then the wine age in steel tanks for 7 months before the bottling.
Sensory characteristics: Deep ruby red colour and violet nuances with a characteristic bouquet of cherries and forest berries. On the palate this wine is soft, dry, whit nice tannins and a good freshness.
